Alternative Learning Center in cooperation with the Guidance Center of Lea County offers the Matrix Program. This 16 week program is designed to teach students the facts and warning signs of teen drug abuse based on the Matrix Model.
It is the goal of the Matrix program to educate students on substance abuse and the dependency of. It explains the effects of drugs on the mind and body and helps to empower students to take charge of their future and to develop decision-making skills.
Students receive 1/2 credit per semester.
