Advanced A/M/G

This class covers astronomy, meteorology, and geology.  This year we do NOT have a classroom set of textbooks, and the Textbook Department is unable to check books out to individual students.  Not to worry, because I teach from powerpoints, so I post them here, under the appropriate unit.  Some of my powerpoints are also available through Google Classroom.

I use short video clips and interactives available at PBS Learning Media as well.

The textbook publisher is Prentice Hall, and they have a website that students can access:
www.phschool.com.  The code needed to enter is "cjk 9999".  This allows students to access PHS' online powerpoints (not as good as mine!) and quizzes for review.

Another good resource is the website for the National Earth Science Teachers Association,
www.windows2universe.org.  Most pages are in both English and Spanish and are available in three levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced).
